getting jay's live shot out because of the high winds. >> we know exactly what they are going through. wed that same type of storm here and in addition they have got -- as with sandy, they have a storm surge problem. >> this is a storm almost as strong as sandy was. positioned a little differently but high tides at least around the cape cod area at about 10 this morning so this storm will be pushing those waters up. i don't know if it will the be a surge that's focused like sandy, but nonetheless, that added to the winds and everything else. it's a bad situation. for us, we're on the edgerrin of this storm. yesterday we had the stormy weather mostly in the form of rain in our area. as the storm was coming together, two elements had to come together. it was still putting itself together over us yesterday. so all we had was rain shower activity and a little bit of snow north and west of us. this morning a few fleuries showing up on radar and that's about the extent of it for us. we had partly cloudy skies west of the bay. we'll pull the view back. still in the throat of it. in new engla
